That's right, an inside source has told me that Nintendo plans to unleash a new model of the 3DS. The 3DS was released a week ago and sold very well. The glasses free 3D works great and the controls feel very well done so why would Nintendo want to release another model? While this isn't a completely new system and is a new model, it is still surprising that Nintendo would want to release a new system so early. Keep in mind that this news hasn't been officially announced, and we would plan on Nintendo keeping this a secret until it plans to show it (E3 we guess), so until then it looks like we will have to patiently wait to see what the 3DS will look like next. My source told me to expect a release sometime in 2011.

UPDATE: 4-8-2011: This was an April Fools joke, granted we could have made an amazing guess, but chances are Nintendo wont be releasing a new 3DS later this year. We also know nobody connected with Nintendo.
