An Even More Modern Warfare

Wow so where to begin. The new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or MW2 for short. The game looks awesome for those who are living under a rock I'm sorry for the bad ecomy, but here is the scoop. The game takes place in a modern setting. You play as a member of a task force against terrorism. Depending on where you are in the world you can play as SAS, Navy Seals, or Special Ops.The gameplay entails alot of amazing guns, gun addons and great moive like atmosphere.

Now I have to discus the E3 demo to really give you the details on how great this game looks. The game starts up and you look over at moutain ranges as you stand on a mountain. you see to your right who other than Soap MacTavish. The main character from MW1, but the twist is he is now a captain and has basically replace Captain Price. The story take off right where MW1 endend. Zackorove is dead and now a man named Macorov has taken power. Now if we were going to have the lesser of two evils Zackorove would be the choice. The new guy is mean comanding and out for blood against the west.

So now the gameplay begins you start to climb up the mountain using ice picks. and after a few almost fatal falls you find yourself at a terrorist base in the middle of a blinding snow storm. The game play shown makes this game looks amazing from the brand new heart beat sensor to the oh so unessisary but brutal knife take down by Cpt. MacTavish where he shoved a enemy into a locker then proceeded to open his throat with a knife. after that you download some documents from a computer upstairs. when the Cpt. MacTavish. Says he has been compromised and tells you to use plan B. Plan B consists of detonating some explosives that you set earlier causing the 15 or some odd soilders to turn around which you take advantage of with your rifle. the after a run through the base you have a big snowmobile escape scene where you Grand Theft Auto style hold your automatic Glock sideways to fend off other snowmobile terrorist.

Now some of the new addons to COD4 MW2 are the Heartbeat sensor this badboy might be my favorite add on. this new trick allows for a similar Alien the movie enemy finding basicaly it is a mini UAV that works anywhere. It is very useful for those who have deep impact and don't mind shooting though a wall, or in the middle of a snow storm. While on the subject of addons there is a new addon perk that will allow you to have multiple addons at once. Which is great for those who want an ACOG, grenade launching, silenced, heartbeat sencing, assult rifle. Though they have also said that there wont be an add on system like in the multiplayer on the single player but they say if there is a certain type of gun you want int the game you will find it. Also there is rumor of some great new reasons to prestige unlike in MW1.

Some other odds and ends rumors are that the collectors eddition is amazing. There are new multiplayer modes and some possible mele take down moves.

This game looks to be as good if not better than MW1 I know personally i will buying this game and the collectors edditon at that. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you all on Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2.
